Geography
Downey is located southeast of Los Angeles and bordered by two rivers--the Rio Hondo and the Rio San Gabriel.
Cultural Attractions
The Downey City Library has a special collection of Carpenter's memorabilia, documenting the career of the music duo, who went to high school in the town.
