Midland sits between Bay City and Mount Pleasant in central Michigan.
Historical
Architect Alden B. Dow, whose father started Dow Chemical, was born here in 1904.  His home and studio are available to tour.

The Chippewa Nature Center offers woodlands, wetlands, and over 15 miles of trails, while Dow Gardens is a 110-acre horticultural garden established in 1899.
