Geography
Trussville sits alongside the Cahaba River in central Alabama, about 15 miles northeast of Birmingham.
Historical
The Cahaba Village section of Trussville was built by the federal government in the 1930s as a Depression-era economic development project.  It's now a designated historic site.
Recreation
Trussville's parks and recreation department operates a swimming pool and a modern senior center.  It also presents special programs, such as a summertime "movies on the mall" series.
