Zalekha Hospital is one of five Zalekha-managed healthcare facilities; the other four are in Dubai. In business since 1992 and JCI-accredited in 2007, the 75-bed hospital has 35 doctors and surgeons and offers a 1-to-1 nurse-patient ratio. Over 400,000 patients have been treated at the facility, and 5,000 surgeries have been performed. Specialty units include cardiac care, intensive care, burn treatment, and neonatal intensive care. Each department is headed by at least two specialist physicians. The hospital offers discounted health checkup and corporate packages. Insurance companies can be billed directly, and patients can elect private or semiprivate rooms or VIP suites.
