Singapore General Hospital (SGH) is Singapore's largest acute-care tertiary hospital and national referral center. It is dedicated to research, providing multidisciplinary medical care. Backed by state-of-the-art facilities, it offers team-based quality patient care and has 29 clinical specialties. Established in 1821, its four specialty centers are the National Cancer Centre, National Dental Centre, National Heart Centre, and Singapore National Eye Centre. SGH is also the national referral center for plastic surgery and burns, renal medicine, nuclear medicine, pathology, and hematology.
