Think you're at low risk of developing heart disease? Think again. A new study published in the journal Circulation found that fewer than 8 percent of Americans have no risk factors for heart disease. The percentage of folks deemed to be at low risk had been rising, from just above 4 percent in the early 1970s to more than 10 percent in 1994. That trend has reversed as more of us have become fatter.
