What it may mean

Posted: March 3, 2009

(HealthDay News) -- Pelvic pain is common in women, in varying degrees of severity and at different times. Determining whether it indicates something harmless or serious should always be left to a physician.

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists says here are common causes of pelvic pain in women:

pain in the pelvis

I had a ct pelvis exam and the results come back : the uterus is anteverted in its position. There is a small to moderate amount of fluid in the with a somewhat irregular 17 mm cystic finding in the left ovary. There is limited contrast in the colon where there is increased fecal material. There is no evidence of definite diverticulitis or definite appendicitis but the appendix is suboptimal demonstrated.

Please give me an answer to this!
