For the one that needs a scholarship. Capella Online University is a good colledge to attend for a variety of stuff. I think they even have a medical degree as well, just dont know which one. However you have the option of adding parents info or not. If your over 18 and on your own I would check into that for some schooling. I am 32 and have 3 kids I support. I get full loans and grants plus some living expenses. which I will have to pay back later. but it really helps right now.

Have you thought about Pell Grants?? If you are 23 years old or have a dependent child that you claim on your taxes you can apply for a pell grant. Just fill out a FAFSA and submit it. You need to get your schools code but you can look that up when you fill it out, they even let you electronically sign and submit it you need to apply for a pin (that is easy to do). Your school should have a link to it on their website, and you can do everything from that one site. All you need is your tax return from this year, or if you did not file one just put in there that you had no income to claim. Good luck and i hope this helps.

ARE THERE ANY OUT THERE FOR 2009 THAT WILL NOT LOOK AT MY PARENTS INCOME? I DO NOT LIVE AT HOME AND HAVEN'T FOR NEARLY A YEAR, BUT EVERYONE WANTS TO LOOK AT MY PARENTS INCOME HOW UNFAIR. I LIVE WITH MY BOYFRIEND AND I CAN'T EVEN FIND A JOB AND I RECEIVE NO FINANCIAL HELP FROM MY PARENTS. BUT SINCE MY PARENTS MAKE GOOD MONEY I CAN'T GET ANY HELP. I AM SO DISCOURAGED. I WANT TO BECOME AN RN BUT IT IS SO EXPENSIVE.

I need Scholarship - my mom lost her job

I am interested in obtaining scholarships since my mom lost her job. She was the only bread winner in my family. I am the youngest and my middle sister is also in college.

Please help up find scholarship to fund our education while waiting for my mom to get another job. I am accepted to attend NYU this fall.

Are international students eligible for any of the above scholarships?...If not, where can I go to find them?
