About the online bachelor's degree program (as submitted by school)

Credibility, affordability, and flexibility set our online BS in Criminology apart. UWG is a public, SACS accredited, brick and mortar institution dating back to 1906. Students can earn the degree online, f2f, or as a hybrid. We offer well-credentialed experts, with low student-teacher ratios. Princeton Review calls UWG a Best Southeastern College and “one of the best overall bargains – based on cost and financial aid – among the most academically outstanding colleges in the nation.”

Measures to instill academic integrity (as submitted by school)

To authenticate into UWG learning management system to complete online coursework and assessments all students are assigned and required to use a unique username. All students are required to sign a pledge to honor the UWG Honor Code. Campus wide policies on academic integrity clearly articulate faculty/student responsibilities and are posted on the course management system’s main course listing page. At the program level, instructors use pedagogical strategies such as written assessments and some require proctored exams. Proctored exams may be conducted on the main Carrollton campus and/or at approved testing sites. Conditions of testing may vary by site and course.
