Students are required to review the USF Honor Code and pass a quiz as part of the orientation process. Faculty use Turnitin.com as a plagiarism detecting service for major written assignments. Every course syllabus or a course site on Blackboard includes standard language on academic policies regarding plagiarism, honesty, and ethical behavior. Course exams are password protected, timed, displayed with one question at a time, and monitored by faculty. Faculty are asked to monitor submissions, provide detailed feedback, and engage students via discussion forums or directly to monitor progress and verify curricular integrity. |
