Faculty members inform students about and adhere to the University of Houston-Clear Lake's academic honesty policy. Faculty members dialogue with students about plagiarism and its consequences. Faculty members use techonological tools to discover and discourage plagiarism on assignments. Faculty members also use technologocial attempts to discover and discourage violations of academic honesty on exams. For example, faculty members use algorithimc exams administered in a synchronous time period with tight exam windows to mitimate honesty issues. |
