Distance education engineering students are required to designate a live exam proctor where they work or live, meeting UF proctor credentials. The UF EDGE office contacts each student proctor to ensure they meet qualifications for approval. All exams are administered via the student's live proctor, and the proctor accesses exams using password protection, and exams are scanned and sent back to professor for grading directly by exam proctor. All students sign the UF student honor code and proctors sign an honor pledge on the cover sheet of each exam. Distance students working in the same office taking the same class are asked to take exams at the same time as each other. All online assignments are UF identity password protected.
