The UCF College of Nursing complies with regional accreditation (SACS) requirements regarding student authentication. For UCF, this involves the use of a secure system where each student has a unique username and password which is distinct from student's email address. UCF authentication is conducted over a secure https connection. Student passwords expire regularly to reduce the window of attack. UCF also emphasizes in mandatory faculty development the role of the instructor in recognizing student work that is not original or authentic. UCF’s “Golden Rule” articulates the expectations for academic integrity in all student work. |
