For written work we use Turnitin. Exams can be set up online so that they are allowed to only open during specific time periods. All quizzes and tests are set to show up in random order and students are forced to complete the exams in one setting within a specified period of time. For exams, some professors do require that students all take it at the same designated time online. Many professors will also meet with their students virtually during the course of the class so that the students may ask questions of the professor and of each other.
