The university's policies and procedures regarding logical access controls satisfy the Higher Education Opportunity Act's requirements. Specifically, the online student is given a system-generated User ID and e-Password to access the online systems, including Sakai. The students are validated as the ones taking the tests through the use of this secure ID number and password. Faculty will be required to have regular contact and communication with students, through telephone, email, video, synchronous software, and/or other rich media; therefore, providing great insight into each student's personality and overall identity, which will aid in this verification. |
