Most assessment strategies in our graduate business courses are group based and project based which involve major papers and presentations. Few if any require exams. In the case of major papers faculty have access to Turnitin where they can determine if any sections of a paper have been plagiarized from others. Further, through the combination of group work, online discussions, synchronous meetings through Blackboard Collaborate (Elluminate Live), and other assignments the faculty member can draw upon the results of past work to determine if a current submission may have been submitted by another person. |
