About the online bachelor's degree program (as submitted by school)

ODU has been a pioneer in distance learning since the mid-1980s. Historically, delivery has been interactive television via satellite broadcast from main campus to distance sites. Recently, we have expanded use of other delivery modes to reach more students. Our current network serves nearly 50 locations throughout Virginia and in Arizona and Washington State, as well as on Navy ships around the globe. This doesn’t count the many students taking online courses. ODU is accredited by COC-SACS.
