NAU uses Lightweight Directory Protocol (LDAP) to give students to access Web courses and other secure information online. All students agree to an acceptable use policy that prohibits sharing login and password information. Penalties for academic dishonesty are clear and widely publicized to students through course syllabi and the Student Handbook. NAU faculty and staff are also rigorously trained to spot and confront academic dishonesty at every level and are committed to upholding NAU's mandate of providing a rigorous academic environment. Penalties for cheating and plagiarism are clear and nonnegotiable.
