Distinguishing characteristics of online program (as submitted by school)

S&T master's program is offered on-campus and by distance education. Distance education courses use streaming internet video for course delivery. This way, students actively participate in classes by viewing their computer while being connected by telephone. Lectures are archived so they may be reviewed throughout the semester. Instructors are available by email and telephone. Course material for both distance and on-campus students is exactly the same. There is no distinction in the degree.
