Measures to instill academic integrity (as submitted by school)

Once a student registers for a specific online course, the student’s name and identification number populate the specific course shell. In order to access the course site, students must log in to the Blackboard system with the assigned account. It is this unique authentication that enables the student to access the course and any course assignments and assessments that are required for the successful completion of the course. Passwords expire every 90 days so students have to change their passwords every 90 days. In addition to the use of a secure login and pass code, some instructors require proctored examinations. EKU’s Office of Academic Testing validates that the proctor meets eligibility requirements.
