DePaul’s policy on Academic Integrity is included in syllabi of online courses and in DePaul’s Undergraduate Student handbook. In addition, a link to the Academic integrity website is available in each online course. Turn-It-In technology is available to DePaul faculty to verify originality of student work, and is typically automated for submission of major assignments. Turn-It-In gives the faculty member a report on the repetition of others’ writing, though the final decision whether the work constitutes a violation of DePaul's Academic Integrity Policy is made by the course instructor. Typically students can also see the report, making the process and information more visible.
