For courses requiring a proctored exam, the Test Center verifies proctor's credentials and establishes the required testing guidelines including providing a proper testing environment, adhering to the parameters required by the instructor, and ensuring that the tester has followed the Bellevue University policy of academic integrity. Proctors and Testers are required to sign and return an academic honesty statement with each administered test. Through the use of Turnitin faculty and students are encouraged to follow best practices for using and citing other people's work. Turnitin will show how much of the student's paper matches content from these databases so faculty can quickly determine how much of the paper is unoriginal. |
