Measures to instill academic integrity (as submitted by school)

During the first week of the mandatory first course students complete an assignment where they agree to comply with the APUS Honor Code and Honor Pledge. Students use Turn-It-In on two written paper assignments for the mandatory first course. Faculty members in identified courses ask students to sign the honor code making a statement that the assignment submitted is original work. Turn-It-In is embedded in selected learning management courses where courses are automatically uploaded and assessed by the plagiarism software.
