About the online bachelor's degree program (as submitted by school)

AIB offers a selection of classes online. Each online class is limited to 18 students to assure significant interaction between the faculty member and students. Because online courses do not have set meeting times, students can choose when and where they want to complete their coursework. Online classes are taught by AIB faculty using Blackboard, an interactive learning platform. AIB Helpdesk provides 24/7 technical support. BS can be completed in 3 years if complete 4 courses per term.

Measures to instill academic integrity (as submitted by school)

All students, including online students, are governed by the College's Academic Integrity Policy and there are consequences for those students found in violation of the policy. The technological measures used are: a single sign-on authentication with individualized usernames and passwords; a webcam recording system to authenticate student identity and deter cheating during online testing; use of a lockdown browser during online testing to prevent the use of other software/applications during testing; a web-based program to detect and deter plagiarism; and placing variables on online testing such as timed exams, randomized test questions, forced completion times, and limited testing attempts.
