Charter Schools are not the answers. The answer lies within the following:
Raise up the child the way he/she should act in public. Don't encourage disrespectful behavior.
Parents don't miss out when the teacher needs your support and go curse and jump them when constructive redirections are made. Parents don't let your child run the house and they won't wexpect to run the classroom when they get to school.
Teachers please don't work in this field for money, make sure that your heart is into it. The children are our tomorrow. Thinks about what care you will receive in your elder days. Get into a field that will benefit you and the setting, stop detroying the children just to make a dollar.

"We have home-schooled our teenager since 6 grade. He is now a 10 grader. His grades went from mediocre to 4.0 in honor classes including algebra, biology, english, literature, spelling, writing, Spanish, and business math."
I'm a public school teacher, and I've had home-schooled kids "come back" after their parents realized they were overmatched for the job. The report cards manufactured by these homeschool-in-a-box curriculums were unanimously crap--I'm talking getting A's in reading who couldn't even tell me all their letter sounds.
Homeschooling is just another name for "We don't really like accountability."

This is pretty darn similar to a map produced by Columbia students this summer, minus the cool explosion simulation. I guess that means they did a great reporting.
