So let me get this straight... If I'm having trouble finding a job, the solution is to get two jobs? Like you say, the job market is terrible, so that suggestion isn't very helpful.

Also, on a side note, the suggestion to organize an "informal summer camp for kids" sounds like many lawsuits waiting to happen.
