Great advice for students! Couldn't have said it better myself. Another tip for students looking for a job on or off campus would be to stay proactive and always be looking for opportunities (ones that better suit their interests). Even if the job you want isn't advertised as open, I always suggest calling that employer and asking. You never know, and it can only help your chances. It's possible to get the job you want, sometimes all it takes is asking for it.
