This is an amazing scholarship source. Especially for the ones who've lost someone close to them like a father.

I am so happy to see this post! I am the co-Founder and Board Chair of National Students of AMF (http://www.studentsofamf.org), a support network for college students grieving the illness or death of a loved one.

We receive multiple requests a month from grieving students in need of financial support. And, while I wish we could help financially and I hope that we can one day in the future, we do not have the finances to offer scholarships. That is why I'm so happy to find this!

Our mission is to connect and empower college students grieving the illness or death of a loved one to support one another. So, while we cannot help financially, we would love to help those who are visiting this page with starting up a support group on your campus or connect you with other students in your area who are coping with similarly difficult situations.

I went through the site. It is so disappointing to see that the help is restricted to the citizens of the United States. Death of parent is discriminated on the basis of soil. Helpless and pity my own self that one who is challenged by destiny is challenged by the scholarship programme as well. Alas !!
