Haha you aren't even seeing the full problem, that's what makes it so funny. The Great Depression and all the huge market collapses were caused by one thing: loss of faith in the financial system.
The bankers just finished financially raping an entire generation through the higher education cartel backed by the federal government.
You now think that simply forgiving student loan debt is going to fix this mess? Not a chance.
I'm in that student loan debt slavery group. There is not a chance that I will willingly ever deal with Wall St. and the banks again. I absolutely despise our corrupt and crooked government, and while I will pay off my debt to avoid the harassment, that will not suddenly make me run into the arms of Wall St. bankers.
Every time this happened before heads rolled. People rose up, and people on Wall St. died. People are now scared to even mention it, but that's what happened. There wasn't a mob necessarily that lynched these people, the bankers started killing themselves because they didn't want to go to jail. Time marches on and memories fade, so that the same patterns can repeat. Except this time...back in 2008, the consequences of massive financial fraud were not felt by the elite banking cartel.
So the trust is gone, there is a sham recovery, and only now are some small voices whispering concerns with the whole farce. Rule of law and justice are dead in the water. The government is a corrupt joke. We are headed for another Great Depression and that's that.

We were and still are sold on the lie of "get good grades, go to college, get a good job and you can retire." We did not have a financial education in high school, we got tons of mail for credit cards when we had no job or credit. We were eagerly told about how easy it is to just take out student loans knowing you couldn't go to school without them and once you had your "good" job at the end of the rainbow, you'd just pay them off. Well, there are no "good" jobs in your field, nobody works with their degree, nothing you learned pertains to what you studied, your 401k was stolen, and you are forced to pay for medicare and social security that you'll never receive. The government that is by and for the people are robbing us blind, paying the banking thieves. (yes, thieves, if you or I were to shoplift, we'd go to jail... when "they" stole our retirement and the future of our children, they get bailed out, kept in business with our money). We're a generation sold on lies, lied into debt, stolen from and taxed to death.

if the govt can release the fat cats all the billions of dollars and foriegn country of their loans then the govt needs to release the students of their loans asap not next week now. it is something that should of been done last year. holding poor student to this huge repayments and forever debts is so unfair compared to the billions of bucks the obama lost in soylendra loan alone.

the student loan i took out a loan to not only to establish cedict but to help finish a degree that could of given me an earnung amount of close to and not limited to over 50,000.dallars I took out 2,000. dallors the i was paying it until i suffer a simple injury at my job that loan gave lawyers,ceditors, and alot of powers to outsiders the opportuntiy to ruin my life. From being successfully employed to poverty.MY child support that I was receiving from my x spouse was takened a lawyer and bank capitilized on that took over 8,000 thosand dallors using that excuse, never say a dime and nothing was apllied to the loan,than.11,000,dallors again student loan from my temporay ssd,time passed again it came down on me when i was determine permantly disabled iwas not only under paid but when I tried to go back to work/ they used the same excuse too and took out an additional 59.00 a month on my social security disabilty directly out a 800.00 dallor a month, now with interest i owed 21.000 dallors with additional fees and fines.and interest its still put aside.now i callect foodstamps pay on a spendown, pay,to an agency to monitor my funds the effect on my childern. limited education,one son is a consider having a a very high iQ.wsnt able to go to the school his contibution close to 250.000 dalors capacity to earn and contribute the usa it has played havoc on my life. this is the kind of power the stuent loans allow scandels and creditors to creat havoc so hey need i say more at least i was able ti sneak by an volenteer for katrina need i say more
