college is worthless, it doesn't give you any skills that people want to pay you for, it doesn't lead to a job of any kind that you couldn't get without college, and it is not worth the cost, education for the sake of education has no value anymore, only education that leads to getting paid has value. That line about how college grads earn more isn't true, youtube it, and even if it were true at one time, that time is long gone.

Too many places and addresses to pay student loans, to much interest flucuating back and forth, no end billing, no notations when asking deferral, no real loan forgiveness for health and accident reasons, paper harassment refusal to speak to third party state officials of state justice department because it is both state-federal issue financially, slow to discharge and forking the bill higher than should be with extension of years, ruin of credit report scores undeservably, federal student aide aware of problem cases, but do not reflect the responsibilty act of paid accounts that are overpaid. I see problems ahead for students whom do not keep all and I mean all documents of loan disbursement and what you pay back and to whom is making up false statements and notations/report immediately to your state justice dept..

low-income that's me. i'm 63 yrs old went back to school after 32yrs. my grades were A's and few B's. i studied hard and finally was certified as an alcohol and drug educator and associate in behavioral science. when i first starts in this field i was not making that much money. i got in the field to give back. when i obtained a better paying job i sent student loan 120 dollars a month. the recession hit i was out of work for 2 yrs. i called student loan let them know i was working but i must also try to move from where i reside at present and they would be taking all my taxes. i feel depressed the government seems to ignore those less fortunate.

There is a case to be made that Pell grants have allowed universities to raise tuition. In any case, 60 years ago, before the federal government got involved, university was much more affordable than it is today.
