The best ebook that actually shows you HOW TO study is called "How to pass any exam without studying too much" I am not going to give you the link just Google it.

Wow i never really thought about how not to study this sure has opened my eyes to something new. Maybe teaching people how not to study at a young age will help us when we are older. Teaching others how not to study will help society put studying in its proper perspective. Teaching students how not to study and how to study can only improve our acedemic challenges

You know, there are so many, many articles that give advice on how to study. Some of them contradict the ideas in this article. However, all the ideas in this article are perfect and accurate. Look no farther, folks! Stick to these rules and you shall succeed!

Thanks for this amazing article! It will help a lot!

Very helpful post! The ideas discussed in the post are just perfect. Generally, we tend to overestimate how painful studying is...when it is really not that bad. I too need some source which helps to internalize the information as soon as possible.

Recently I came across a book Secrets SMART Study System offered by 4 hour study week which not only helps to memorize anything the first time you hear but also reduces the study hours. It helps to learn the power-napping techniques and sleeping habits that will instantly boost your focus, creativity and ability to learn and memorize better.

Great Advice. I am a junior in college, and it literally took me two and half years of experience to figure a lot of this out. You're right. We tend to overestimate how painful studying is...when it is really not that bad. I too am a perpetrator of looking for the perfect study spot, when really, its really wherever you can concentrate. Great job.

Rehearsing to yourself is another great way to learn material I found. Read through your notes and chapters then rehearse what you learned over and over or write it down on paper without having to look it up.

I think those are pretty good tips. I'm a senior student right now and I felt I had wasted four years in college learned almost nothing... I had faced all the problems you mentioned, and all in wrong ways.

Only one thing, asking teacher for help is like some horrible thing to me since in my mind teachers would say " I had taught this before, you should understand" it might make the teacher think that I'm more stupid than others or didn't pay attention on class. Any way I always think teachers are unreachable..

Even though I attend a college preparatory high school that emphasizes studying (we even have a course called "Study Skills") I have never seen such good study tips presented in such a well-organized, easy to understand manner. I appreciate the article- I'm sure it will improve my preparation for exams this year.
