Why not change the name to the Democrats, Demonic Democrats, or Obamas, those three are very vicious and evil characters. Just imagine if you are Mississippi State and you step out of the field and see the Mascot wearing a giant Obama Head, that would be un nerving and they would probably wet thier pants.

You're kidding right?????!!!!?? Adm Ackbar as a mascot?!?!? What is wrong with you people??? I think it was stupid to get rid of Col Reb in the first place. they said it was because he was offensive to the black students and keeping some from applying to Ole Miss. Doesn't anybody there know the history of Col Reb? The very first Col Reb WAS a black man who dressed up in the Col Reb uniform. Apparently, he was proud! I have been a Rebel fan for over 40 years, and Ole Miss won't be the same without being known as the Rebels. I guess I'll start rolling with the Tide if this mascot thing goes askew!!

I have been an ole miss fan for the last 40yrs. If this is going to be our Mascot count me out.What has happen to our Students,Fans and Alumni to even think about letting this happen.Where is your pride? Do you want to be the laughing stock of the S.E.C. If this becomes our Mascot count me out.I hate Miss. State,but before I accept this as our Mascot, I will become a Bulldog!!!

The thought of this horrible looking character becoming my team's new mascot is the worst idea these students could come up with, I mean I've been a die hard ole miss fan all my life and I've always said I would be but if this character becomes the new mascot I'm almost sure It would be hard to stay a fan, maybe some of these people think the mascot's appearance shouldn't matter if you are a fan but I think you'll lose alot of fans by using this creature, please people I beg you we can do better than this.
