What story made you shake your head and roll your eyes in disgust?

The inevitable breakout of H1N1 virus on campus. Look, everyone knows that the swine flu was a serious problem in America. People were getting sick left and right, and there didn't seem to be anything that could stop it. But then, H1N1 hype kept growing, drowning out any other kind of news. Admit it: You got pretty sick of hearing about the swine flu, didn't you? Kindle in the classroom. There's a new saying going around these days: "Epic fail." It may be too early to declare the whole Kindle-in-the-classroom craze an epic fail, but we seem to edging closer to it. From the lack of accessibility to Kindle for blind students to the downright rejection of it by many college students, who knows if the digital reader will be as big as it was supposed to be. Lowering the drinking age ... again. It was a nominee last year because the topic found its way into the mainstream. Well, our overhyped little friend found its way back onto the national scene in 2009 ... and nothing happened. Balloon boy.
