To Mr. First comment up there. I'm sure the students would love to pay for a security camera on top of their already 32% fee increase.
Also agreed no one should go to prison for this and... UCLA already splashed Tommy Trojan with blue paint last year. So creative on USC to do it back to us, I guess you can't buy a more innovative prank.

Gee, if only there were some kind of electronic gizmo that could take pictures of the statue on a constant basis and then you could go back and look at the old pictures and see who did it.
Something like that would probably cost millions and millions of dollars though.
Maybe someday somebody will invent such a device.....

I went USC, and like the majority of my fellow alumni, I am not in prison. DUDE of CA you are the one that needs to wake up!
We have been smart enough to always cover our beloved statue of Tommy Trojan in black shrink wrap for the rivalry week, even when the bruins were regularly kicking our asses in the 19990's (the bruins won 8 years in a row). UCLA used to do the same thing 20 years ago, when I was a student, in addition to the guards. It seems that laziness combined with a lack of school spirit, and lets not forget a football team that is absolutely terrible, have produced this result. This is one of the biggest rivalries in college athletics, period. The fact that UCLA students can't get psyched is appalling!
one more thing: quit crying about the end of the game, people! This is a RIVALRY that is 80 years old... Look at the scores of some of the games these two teams have played...how about 1986? UCLA is up 24-0 just before halftime. UCLA then pulls the fake kneel down to hail mary to go up 31-0 at the half, and goes on to win by 20 points. Payback is a bitch, isn't it! Maybe now UCLA will actually show up next year.

These students are a total joke. Show some pride in your school guys and gals, because a degree from UCLA will take you places that not many others get to go. The same can be said about usc, but no one really WANTS to get to go to prison.
