I played with Kyrstin my freshman year in college and she was by far the best third baseman I have ever had the privelage of playing with. She was my protector and best friend. I don't understand why this happend but theis world is a far lesser place without her and heaven is a better place with her. I will always love her and keep her close. We will meet again....

I actually played two out of the three players in college, while I was attending Minot State University. They were two amazing players with so much talent. This is the worst news I have heard in a long time. Neufield was an outstanding outfielder as we both got "All Conference" my senior year. My prayers and blessings are with all three girl's friends and family. God be with you all!

It is terrible that these girls died this way. It seems to me that something is missing here. A car doesn't just instatnly sink when it hits water. The water was probably very cold I'm sure, and that may have played a factor in them getting out of the vehicle. Never the less it seems odd to me that 3 young physically fit girls couldn't get out of the vehicle before it sank. If there was signs of trying to get out them maybe I can rule out some foul play, drugs, drinking or something. If it was drug or drinking related that is too bad, too many young people die from a stupid accidents while drinking. I don't think I'm the only one who is questioning this just being an accident. I think the families deserve to know exactly what happened to their daughters and the police neeed to do all they can to figure this out.

My heart goes out to these three young ladies. May they be with God and God be with their families.

I quote you "Now drop the kids back in the pond and let's throw a party." Are you so insensitive that you don't have a clue as to how to behave in society? What if this was your sister, niece or friend. How callous of you to be so offensive. I lived in ND my entire life until a few years ago and even though these girls are not originally from North Dakota they became North Dakotans the day they started school at Dickinson State. I feel for them and their families not just because they went to school in ND but because they were so young and healthy and they lost their lives in a tragic moment in time. It was dark with no glimmer of light - they just didn't see the road end and the pond begin.

I cried when I saw this on CNN and still cry at the loss their families are feeling. This was a terrible accident. Do you not feel sad at the fact that they must have been terrified when they couldn't get out of the car - trapped with no way out?

How would you like it if it was you in that vehicle that night - would you want people to say "Now drop the kids back in the pond and let's throw a party?" I think not. Grow up - this is what is wrong with America when we live with people who have with such appalling thoughts. Get a life - at least you have a chance at one, these girls lost theirs.

i attend dickinson state university and happen to have known all 3 of the girls. it offends me that you have no regard for human life whatsoever. imagine if that had been 3 of your friends. i know for a fact that they had not been drinking because up until about a half hour before they left to go for the drive they were playing intramural volleyball. regardless of if they were drinking or not, out community and school still lost 3 wonderful girls. thanks for all your sympathy and concern.

i think that is was a tragiedy that they were found dead in a local pond. if i were me who found that my kids were dead in a pond i would never let go of that day. my nefew was only five weeks old when he died and i have never let go sence. my sister was very sad when finding out that her first son died of cribdeath. i will honor thos softball players.
