In Trying Times, 5 Growing Majors

Sounds too simple, but how about using your local libraries online databases to access the articles? With my library card, I just used my library system's database subscription to access the Chronicle of Higher Education's 'subscription only' article. It is pretty informative and mentioned the majors in more depth than USNews. If you are enlightened by this info, than my job is done - I am a public librarian. The Health Informatics direction looks good to me.

this information is useless. You need to identify the 5 specific college degrees a person should consider. The chronicle of higher ed will only allow you to read the article if you purchase a subscription! Not!

I believe it is A good article. It could use more detail for those deciding what field to get into. If We had more Doctors to take over for the doctors that hopefully will be looking for work after health care reform kicks in.

And green technology is desperately needed so this country can survive on its own and clean up the air and at least domestic water.

This is a "nothing" article. Nothing is defined. To find out more, THE CHRONICLE requires a supscription. More and more this service is proving to be a waste of time.
