More than 100,000 collegebound veterans will begin receiving improved financial aid this week through the recently expanded GI Bill, the Chronicle of Higher Education reports. Bush, the revamped GI Bill covers the full cost of attending an in-state public college or university for veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, according to this U.S. News article. Veterans can also apply some portion of the bill's benefits to tuition at an out-of-state private school.
