Ohio State Police Make Arrest Over Threatening Comment

March 20, 2009 RSS Feed Print

Ohio State police arrested an 18-year-old student Thursday in connection with threatening messages left on the student newspaper's website, the Lantern reports. On a Lantern story about a teaching assistant who had been fired by OSU, a commenter posing as the teaching assistant made threats. One said, "Virginia Tech all over again."

The comments were traced back to the student's IP address, and he is now charged with making false alarms.
