It couldn't happen to a better school. Cut the whole faculty and you'll have a better school.

I would be very concerned about the education with that many cut backs save your money and go to another school

GOOD MORNING TO ALL, WHEN DO WE SAY WE'VE HAD ENOUGH, AND I WANT TO TAKE CONTROL OF MY LIFE, TIME AND FINICAL SITUATION?? AS PEOPLE WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING DOWN THE PIKE AS TO SAY WELL WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME AND WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO GIVE ME. I'M VERY SORRY FOR WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO WHOM EVER IT IS THAT JOB IS AFFECTED BECAUSE YOU ARE ALSO AFFECTING THEIR LIVES. IT'S ABOUT TIME TO STAND UP AND BE HEARD, AND THAT REALLY MEANS LOOKING YOURSELF IN THE MIRROR AND SAYING WAS I ON THE WRONG TRACK AND HOW DID I GET HERE AND WHAT AM I GOING TO DO ABOUT IT TO MAKE SURE THAT THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN TO ME OR TO HURT MY FAMILY.

WE'VE SPENT YEARS DOING THAT CHASE AND IT'S GOTTEN US NO WHERE.

IT MAYBE A SOLUTION TO SOME AND TO SOME IT MAY BE NOT BUT ALL I CAN DO IS OFFER HOPE, LOVE AND A CHANCE AND MORE IMPORTANTLY A CHANGE TO TAKE CONTROL OF OUR OWN FUTURE.

MAY GOD BLESS

It is quite amazing that during times like these, professors (who earn around $175k for full ones in Yale) are specifically excluded from the savings equation. Am sure that a 3% across the board salary cut will be more than sufficient to save most of these 100 or so jobs.

Yeah, layoff and raise tuition. The american dream....
