Maryland Universities Accept More Transfers

A University of Maryland report shows the number of Maryland students transferring from community colleges to four-year universities has increased 16 percent in the past five years, the Diamondback reports. That includes a 31 percent increase in the number of black transfer students and a 19 percent increase for Hispanic students.
