University of Vermont officials are taking extra precautions for this year's traditional Naked Bike Ride, enlisting more student volunteers to identify misconduct and turning up all the lights—particularly on the audience, not the bikers, the Vermont Cynic reports. "It isn't the participants we have a problem with," said a member of the Naked Bike Ride Task Force. "It's the behavior of the audience. Hopefully, with the lights focused on them, the audience won't be as anonymous."

Oh, and the weather in Burlington, Vt., today? Snowy, windy, and 28 degrees. Have fun, kids!

I heard they were thinking of canceling it. Having been a past participant, I'm glad to hear they are going to improve it!

Dang, I wish I was enrolled at ole Vermont.

Sounds like they have the right idea about spectator sports. (And I WOULD behave while gawking.)
