Brandeis Staff Might Volunteer for Pay Cut

It seems to me unreasonable that faculty should be invited to take a pay cut, given the amounts students pay to go to Brandeis University. Here's a list:

2008-09 Undergraduate Tuition and Fees

Tuition $36,122

Mandatory Fees

Technology Fee $218

Orientation Fee (First Year Students Only) $183

Student Events Fee $64

Student Activity Fee $300

Health Services Fee $590

University Health Insurance -Student Only

Tenured people know they are (and have been) on a gravy train compared with both their students and the more recently hired adjunct faculty. OF COURSE at least some of them are going to try to be benevolent.

Heck, what's one percent----if you get to stay tenured?
