A young man wh is the son of my wifes caretaker would like to attend PennState and to have an opportunity of finding employment at the school.

I would highly recommend this young man who has achieved quite an education. He is responsible and dedicated to whatevfer task he undertakes.

To David of Pa, you didn't have to have had applied to one of the branches to get accepted now. I just got my acceptance just a few days ago to University Park. So to everyone reading this, it is possible, just follow your heart :)

A lot of you guys are lucky. Penn state didn't used to send out accepted letters until after the new year. If you did get an acceptance letter it was because you applied to a branch which isn't a bad idea. Also Penn state is one of the most competitive schools to get into that is not an ivy league.(In 2008 penn state had about 120000 applications for 7,000 freshmen slot for Upark. Few thing to consider. Grades and SAT scores don't cut it anymore you need to show you are well rounded lots of activities. Next applying for summer is a big plus too because its usually a little better chance, plus you get to learn your way around the college before its fill to the breaking point.

I know a lot of these hints are a little late. Congrats to the people who got in.

To the people who have been sent to branch campuses, if you really want to go to penn state i would strongly suggest going to the branch.

To everyone else you goes to different colleges, good luck and if you truly hate it you can always try to transfer to penn state, though it can be very difficult. Believe I Know.

We are .......... Penn State
