New Hampshire Fraternity Suspended

October 3, 2008 RSS Feed Print

Nine members of the Sigma Beta fraternity at the University of New Hampshire have been arrested after a drug raid Tuesday evening, the New Hampshire reports. In response to the raid—which police say netted marijuana, Ecstasy, oxycodine, psychedelic mushrooms, prescription drugs, and assorted drug paraphernalia—the university has suspended the frat, which had already been on probation because of a May incident that involved hazing, public intoxication, and illegal drinking.

Three of those arrested have been charged with felonies.
