Auburn Dean: Don't Boo Home Team

Dean Green must've seen the Tennessee-UAB game this past weekend. Tennessee was booed off the field at halftime. Or maybe he was thinking about the Alabama-La. Monroe game last year where Alabama lost...and was booed off the field by their own fans as well... on Senior day! I hate to see any fans boo college athletes. Dean Green needs to focus on running Auburn academically. I think issues like this (if they are a problem) should be dealt with by the athletic director...isn't that his job?

I applaud Dean Green. We all know that in the heat of the game (especially against a team as rude as LSU) pumped up students can get rowdy and forget their manners. I think it took class and guts to send that e-mail and I hope, as a Tiger, that my fellow Tigers will remember the class they have. LSU may make fun of us, and I know they will boo us, but I hope we show them what class is this weekend - and give them a good stomping! I know of plenty of other schools who need a good lesson on class.
