Anthrax Suspect May Have Had Sorority Obsession

Whatever obsessions the suspect may or may not have had, the Feds were quick to jump on his self-inflicted (or so it is reported) demise to use his death as "evidence" that he and he alone was responsible for the "great anthrax case"--and now it is solved.

We hope there is truth in that sell and we will live in peace and total security from such threats forever and ever, amen thanks to the Feds.

Whom the gods wish to destroy, they first make mad. FBI, too.

what does one expect from this government, they said area 51 was not a real place that it never existed.

Look, the FBI fingered the wrong person before and the case was seven years old. It was high profile. The pressure on the FBI, especially the poor slobs who could not solve the case must have been tremendous.

The LA Times article was most certainly yellow journalism. And as I see it the only source for the information was the FBI.

What I see is lots of innuendo and no hard evidence. I do see lots of motive and opportunity for the FBI to have intentionally railroaded Dr, Ivins.

I also see a family who is dealing with the sudden death of a loved one whose misery must being magnified greatly by what looks to me like an FBI orchestrated smear campaign.

Please consider the pressure which the FBI was putting on Dr. Ivins. Both the financial and emotional pressure must have been staggering. Is it possible that he saw his situation as one where he would lose even if he won? He and his wife would have been financially ruined. Did he kill himself because that was the only way he could protect his wife?

This is America and Dr. Ivins is innocent until proven guilty and at this point there is no compelling evidence of guilt. It is a shame that he will not have his day in court.
