Fire Destroys Wisconsin Fraternity House

May 13, 2008 RSS Feed Print

The Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity house at the University of Wisconsin was destroyed by a fire late Monday night, sending two firefighters with minor injuries to the hospital, the Daily Cardinal reports. All the students who lived in the house made it out safely, although almost all the property inside was lost.

The school has provided $500 in emergency funds for each of the students affected, and arrangements were made for those who are still in the midst of finals. The cause of the blaze is being investigated.
