Maryland 'Cuddler' Attacks Two Women

Two women were assaulted by the city "cuddler" near the University of Maryland campus this weekend, the Diamondback reports. In both cases, a man got into bed with the women—and in one case, got in bed with the woman and her boyfriend—and proceeded to kiss or cuddle with his victims. The police have no leads in the case, but suspect these incidents are related to at least 12 other sexual assaults and peeping Tom incidents from the past year.

It is a shame that the real seriousness of this story is being lost in the terminology. Unwanted contact is criminal sexual contact. If this perp follows this path, he will get to the point where "cuddling" no longer satisfies his needs. At that point he will graduate to forcible rape and possibly murder. This could be nipped in the bud right now if people would take this seriously and not couch it in cutsey terminology!!!
