It was about sex, preventing std's. If it was about preventing lung cancer, a picture or diagram of a lung would be required. Likewise, this is about diseases that effect the human genitles. People need to know how to protect themselves.
Plus, we show blood and violence on tv, and in our movies, but when something that is intimate, an act of affection, is in the public eye, we cringe. Havent we moved beyond an age where we were uncomfortable in our own bodies?

I believe this is just another example of radical liberalism taking roots on American colleges and universities. American institutions of higher learning are becoming breeding grounds for radical liberals and their perverted ideologies. As a former Umass Amherst student, i vehemently oppose the Radical Student Union in this case.

As a member of the UMass Republican Club, I'd like to set the record straight- this isn't about homosexuality at all. There's a daycare in the Student Union and young children walk by the RSU office all the time. Lewd images of genatalia should not knowingly be placed in a place with so many young children. If the flyers were of a heterosexual couple, we would have raised the same objection.

Well let's see if the Radical Student Union has anything in common with the SDS and Weathermen from back in the good old days in the late 60's. When Chicago Boss Daley ordered the Police to crack down at the Deomocratic National Convention and they did with a vengeance the kids took a beating in front of network cameras chanting "the whole wordl is watching, the whole world is watching"
Somehow I have a feeling when Umass tells the kiddies to remove the poster or we're going to force you to take a bath, they will cave.
