I agree with the university's decision that denied Obama a chance to speak in its campus. If you allow one candidate to speak supporting his candidacy, then allow the other candidate to do it as well. It's no mystery that the media gives excessive coverage to Obama's campaign as opposed to McCain's. Why is that? I don't believe the majority of information that the media puts out about Obama. His past history, past record, past association, past religious connectioins are deliberately muted by the liberal media. It's as if his destined to win the presidency. A lot of people have grown tired of hearing his name over and over again. But what about Senator McCain? This man has served his country longer than Barack Hussein Obama has been born. The media, however, pokes fun of him and only gives him negative coverage. The liberal media waits for McCain to make a verbal blunder and then capitalizes on it.

The bottomline is MCCain has more experience and public service than Obama. Therefore, give respect to where it is due. If Obama gets a chance to speak, then give McCain a chance as well.

I'M TIRED OF HEARING ABOUT OBAMA. SO WHAT? THERE'S NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT THIS CHARACTER. HE'S AN OPPORTUNISTIC ASSOCIATING WITH HATEMONGERING MILITANT REVERAND.

MCCAIN, ON THE OTHER HAND, SERVED HIS COUNTRY AND BLED FOR HIS COUNTRY. A TRUE AMERICAN HERO!!!!!!!!!

Why don't you invited both Candidates! Obama and Mccain and they should debate issues we have so that the students who are brain washed by the ignorance professors to change to make the right decision!

You students are little immature to make decisions that you just pick the one against Bush! You need to study and go through what Obama will do to your country??

Be more intelligent and study the policies! He is very dangerous and flip flop!

Be smart and be wise to pick the one who makes your country better but not caos!

What's most disturbing is how Obama is above reproach. It's become almost blasphemy to criticize him in anyway. Kudos to John Stewart for pointing this out in his comedy routine, but he'll probably catch flack for that, just like the rest of us. It's as if Obama has been packaged and sold to us as some kind of diety, when he's nothing more than a junior senator, with a thin resume, who voted present a hundred times at his job.

I think whoever made up their minds are correct and I was pleased to hear this comments. Of course may be some of the students who are blacks want Obama, Hussein to come to the campus but remember there are also some students who supports Hillary or Republican party so it's fair no to invite Obama and he is not trust worthy. You students, do not blind obedience but study what he is going to do?

Do you want a socialism? Do you want a Big government to control you? Think about it and study him then you will find out HE IS A JERK AND HE HAS MANY CONNECTION TO AL QUID AND OTHER TERRORISTS. HE NEVER BE A PRESIDENT DUE TO HIS DISHONESTY AND NO VALUE OR PRINCIPAL IN HIS LIFE!!

Someone with the last name MUHAMMAD would pull out the race card. There are plenty of reasons to not want Barack Obama to be president, and his race isn’t any of them. His political naivety, inexperience, and lack of common sense rank high.

My fellow Americana's,my fellow Democrates!!

we need to do the right thing,we need to do what we wished the republicans would have done 4 years ago. we need to make sure with our votes that a bad,bad horrid man does not take the highest office in our land.

8 years ago the republicans voted for bush and we democrates were very sad, than 4 years ago we figured no way would we let that happen again, but alas bush won again. 8 years of pure hell for all to share.

but this time its not the republicans that have the horrible candidate! its us the democrates that have the horrid man that will destroy America.its is us the democrates that must do the right thing and vote for the best person running and that man is McCain.

the dnc has done everything it can to make sure we have no choice of a president.

we have never been huge Hillary supporters but she is better than obama,we would vote for her, barack we will never vote for.

do we like john McCain??? no not really!!!

do we respect john McCain??? yes we do!! he is a good man.

do we want john McCain as president?? no,but he is better than obama!!!

we are a small group of democrates called keepers that just do not think barack obama cares about our united states of America.

we keepers will vote in this election and if our choice is barack obama or john McCain,we will have no choice but to vote for john McCain.

barack obama will destory and divide our United States of America!!! We the people must stand united and stop him or divided we fall!!!

Can't he find somewhere else to talk? School is for education and learning. It is not for personal agenda. As a student, to have such an event in the school is a big disruption.

Again as a Wash U student it was extremely frustrating to see our administration reject our wishes. Most of us open to the idea of having multiple candidates speak here if they so wished. It seemed to be a giant misstep for the university as this is the sort of thing that attracts potential students. I don't know what their actual reasoning behind the rejection was but it was a very large disappointment for the student body.
